Hypothetical question, but a curious one too, imo.

Everyone loves to hate politicians, right?

So, what would happen were the politicians of ALL parties to turn around, and say, 'Right, that's it, we've had enough, we are not working any more'..?

Well, first of all we would have no Government.

And, of course, logically, no other party could be appointed leadership, since they would have withdrawn their labour, as well.

Now, I appreciate that this is highly improbable, for all manner of reasons, but play here, what precisely would the implications be for a society like the UK, how would it filter down, how would it impact on us?

    Cheers,

I imagine you'd be looking at a military coupe of some kind... similiar to that of a Cherolet or a Shoop Coupe... or a bunch of skate board punks stealing the Queen Mother's jewelry in some sort of anarchist revolt.

In America, the corporations rule... nothing would change.

A military coup? That might be the most logical thing. And since the military would no longer be accountable to the people, via politics, the odds are that it would be pretty oppressive.

Therefore, is it fair to say that like them or not, politicians act almost as a 'barrier' between that happening, and not happening?
